Student Publication Association (SPA) National Awards 2023

Shortlisted: Best Specialist Publication
This award recognises the best specialist student publication, including academic journals and publications that focus on one specific area of interest. It is judged by the same principles as the Best Publication category.

Shortlisted: Best Newcomer Publication
This award recognises the best new student publication. Publications may not be more than three years old (regardless of the length of SPA membership) at the time that the Awards close for entries, nor may it have won this category in the past. It is judged by the same principles as the Best Publication category.

Student Publication Association (SPA) Regional Awards 2023 – Scotland

Best Newcomer Publication
This award recognises the best new student publication in the region. Publications must be two years old or under. It took into account quality of content, relevance to the student community, and the impact of their work.

Aberdeen University Students’ Association awards

AUSA King’s Award with Merit
The King’s Award of Merit is for students who have been involved in their chosen society for more than one year and their committee would like to recognise them for doing more than their role or committee expects of an individual.

This award is a recognition for students who have given two or more years to their chosen society activity. Nominations are completed society committees for individuals who have demonstrated personal development through their dedication to the society. They will also have continuously given large amounts of time to effort to the growth of their society.
